Luke’s Roblox Games of The Week: 10th March 2024

Through my work on RTrack, I’ve been seeing a lot of Roblox games. We’re working on a lot of features, and every now and then something catches my eye that I just have to check out.

It can be hard to find what’s new if it doesn’t hit the front page and join those sorts, so I want to start this newsletter, which I’ll try to update weekly, with the games that caught my eye that week. As much as possible these will be games that recently picked up steam, or aren’t played as much as I think they should be.

Mini Empires RTS is a real-time strategy game where players build empires, create armies, form alliances, and engage in tactical mastery on the battlefield. It offers an immersive military experience with epic multiplayer battles. Players can strategize, manage resources, and lead their forces to victory in challenging scenarios.

I haven’t really seen a game like this on Roblox before, it’s polished, simple, and clean. It’s the perfect Roblox-ified RTS game. I love the Age Of Empires franchise, and this reminds me of it. It has the basics down perfectly.

Tip: You can select units by double clicking + dragging your mouse (it took me a while to figure that out)

By all metrics this game is suddenly picking up steam, and you should absolutely try it out:

“Call of Chivalry” is a skill-based medieval fighting game that focuses on brutal melee combat. Players can conquer enemies, climb competitive ranks, and customize their fighters with detailed weaponry and armor. The game provides a challenging combat experience where players need to master blocking and attacking techniques. With codes for rewards, premium player benefits, and increased rewards on weekends, the game offers various incentives for players to engage and progress. It features battlegrounds, PvP gameplay, with elements of FPS, blood, and ragdoll physics. The game is available on PC, mobile, console, and VR platforms.

This game has a lovely atmosphere, it has great visuals, sound and atmosphere, and the fighting mechanics are pretty great too. This is another game that’s been around for a long time, but has exploded with recent updates:

An immersive escape room game where players find themselves locked in unknown rooms and must collaborate to solve puzzles and discover clues. The game offers five different maps ranging from a Japanese themed temple to a spaceship in space. Players can join forces with 1 to 6 friends to unravel the mysteries of each room. Be cautious and work together as a team to successfully escape the challenging scenarios presented in each map.

While this isn’t a new game, it’s another that has recently picked up steam, they have recently improved the graphics.

This game is just a great version of real life Escape Rooms, and if you like going to them in real life with your friends, you’ll love these ones too. The ones I tried could be a little harder, but they’re still great fun.

Tip: If you press the power button on the computer at the start of the game, you’ll find a secret escape room hidden in the lobby.

Crazy Cards

By jotslo

This is a cards against humanity inspired game where players are given a prompt card, and must fill in the blank with one of their own cards. The judge for that round chooses their favourite, and the first to get 12 points wins

This game is super fun, really nicely made and just an all round great time. It’s one of the first times I’ve seen an entirely UI based game do this well.

This is another game that’s picked up a huge amount of traction recently, it’s visit count has gone up by 10 times in just the past 2 weeks.

Well, that’s it for this time, let me know your thoughts and I’ll keep making these!
